| Does anyone know how to make an effective loading screen, a loading screen that doesn't just sit for a while but actually finds out when things are done loading/rendering/stuff? |

I would suggest you visit this wiki page all about custom loading screens: wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Custom_loading_screen
As far as making it display information on the assets it is loading, I think the only information you can get is the amount of assets left to load. You can get this through the ContentProvider service. wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/ContentProvider/RequestQueueSize
