So I built my first PC.
Specs: ASUS Z170-K Crucial 8GB 2666mhz EVGA GTX 1050 TI (Upgrading to a 1060 soon) 550W Power supply Intel Core i5 6600k 1TB HDD
Problem I have is, I ordered a 1TB Seagate HDD from Amazon. I also bought a Windows 10 Key for like 30 dollars When trying to set up my boot drive in the Bios, it wasn't detecting that I had any drives plugged into the SATA port. I tried every SATA port, none of them worked. I tried a different SATA connection cord, still didn't work. So finally, I took the HDD out of my OLD computer. (I'm talking like, DDR2 and Intel Core 2 Duo old and it had basically completely different hardware and mobo than what I have now) I put the HDD in, which was already set as a boot drive and my computer booted which im now typing on. I went to device manager, and apparently everything is up to date somehow. Windows 10 didn't ask me to re-activate it using a code or anything, and I really have not experienced any problems whatsoever.
Should I be worried, as in are there any not-so easy to detect potential problems I should try to fix in relation to hardware, BIOS, or software stuff?
