| Living a lie causes turmoil. It causes identity crises and problems with those around the perpetrators of said lie; the mid 2000’s TV show Hannah Montana is a prime example, following a girl who lives a double life as Hannah Montana, the popstar, and Miley Cyrus, the girl next door. This girl goes through emotional drama, social tension, and demonstrates a surprising amount of angst, solely due to her having to hide her biggest secret from her friends. A similar case of internal struggle is in the novel The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorn, where a minister named Dimmesdale must suffer through hiding the fact he committed a sin to maintain his image of a holy servant even though his counterpart, Hest, was exposed and punished for her sins. |

| sentences seem way longer than they should be, using such a lengthy structure isn't always appealing to the reader |
