Re: How do I get a module from a website's files?

I don't want to require my module from ROBLOX because exploiters are able to steal it with a decompiler. I want to know how I can require my module script from my website or atleast a page with the ID and the page can only be required by my game.

I'm sure that this is possible and I would like to know how, if you want it in simple terms, how do I make it so that I can require a rbxmx/module from a website

And how would I make it so that I get the website? Sorry if i'm asking for too much, I just really want to know this.

no, if your getting it from a website then you have to loadstring and it cant be a module. if exploiters saw the #### request, then your games getting stolen. just request() and upload the module.

as far as i know you can run a script from a site using loadstring but modules can only be required from either an in game module or a module uploaded as a roblox asset

No, no.

They can get the module's ID and require in their own game, then use a decompiler to decompile the module and they'll be able to get it as an actual file.

you could just store the module on the server if it matters that much, also why bother requiring it as a MainModule if you're only going to use it in that game?

I was making a basic system for my games and for other people to use, I wanted it to be easy to update and only accessible in whitelisted places. I could make that part but not the part where it loads the module from a website/host, this is so exploiters aren't able to steal the module by decompiling it.

I saw a few of those scam places doing that and other things and I wanted to know how so I can use that with something. If this is possible and someone knows the correct way (setting it up on the website and getting the module to work) then I am willing to pay 1,000 ROBUX.
