Greetings builders of NASA
RISS is the next project for our group, the idea behind it being to create a modular space station based on the concept of the ISS. NASA members can build modules for the station that will be placed together to create the RISS (Roblox International Space Station). The station can be added to over time with modules from members. O Gravity tools will be used in the station for realism, please design modules with this in mind. Modules can be submitted by anyone in the group but only the highest quality will be accepted, existing NASA Engineers will have their modules accepted easier.
Modules must adhere to these rules to be accepted: 1. NO FREE MODELS 2. Modules must be realistic to technology from 1950s to present day. 3. Modules cannot contain any scripting (unless specifically agreed by me) 4. Modules must be to the highest standard of detail 5. Individual Modules cannot exceed 20 studs in diameter, or 40 studs in length 6. Modules must use the docking ring on connecting ends so that they can connect to other modules, ring can be found here = https://www.roblox.com/catalog/889461827/redirect
Any other questions please message me (Danjammey) or reply to this thread. When your module is complete please message me with a link to a model of it, I will then access it and add it to the station if it passed.
Together we can create something amazing, the best space station on Roblox.

| Yes you can, I'm going to say maximum 2 modules each. At least for now. |

Will we be using MMU's?
Sorry for being interrogative. |

| Yeah ill give everyone MMU for movement around the station, they will get stuck in the horizontal sections otherwise, and its more realistic. |

What types of modules can we make, though?
For example, a docking bay for incoming spacecrafts would likely be something that the administration would like to make sure fits with all the launch scripts. Same with things like an airlock, which would obviously require coding. So what kinds of things do you want the community to be responsible for? |

| You can make whatever modules you want if there realistic, docking bays just need to use the providing docking ring so that modules fit. And sure you can build and airlock its totally up to you. |

Currently made a module for the RISS, dunno what it should be though. I literally have no ideas for the interior. Any suggestions?
Bingo bongo. |

Module ideas:
A Space laboratory for 0 Gravity experiments would be fantastic.
We don't currently have a communications module, that would need a dish or antenna.
Could also use a Life support module that would need tanks for water, air, and waste etc.
Recreational module, with a place for astronauts to eat together, be great to include 0 Gravity exercise machines.

Hey guy :D Can I make one of these ? But I need add scripts for the buttons , lights and door or other stuff, I have also updated my little artificial satellite , with a new interior , a little complicated :/ but, you are genius , here at NASA so ,you can come test it out. PS: Oh , and Can I apply for the Engineer rank ? ~ Have a great day , Marius. |

Sure anyone can make a RISS module, just stick to the rules I've outlined above in the first post including the one about no scripting, could be seen as a unnecessary rule but trust me it makes everything so much simpler.
After seeing your satellite ill be happy to give you engineer rank after you complete your RISS module and its accepted. Cheers for now. |

| Sorry, for not mentioning any Module Making here, but I'd like to apply for NASA, as an Astronaut. I'd love to go through the trainings and Simulations. I have all the patience in the world. |
