So I've been wanting to make a player script that does some small animations here and there and thought "Hey, would be cool if it had some spicy effects around it too." So I decided to add some small effects to it and base their positions around the player from the player's torso, but I realized I couldn't use script.Parent or script.Parent.Torso for some reason because the same error [23:59:47.009 - Workspace.[Usernmae].[Script]:28: attempt to index field 'Parent' (a nil value)] kept appearing whenever I tried this. I asked a friend and he was equally confused by this "Error" so I decided to move to Forums to see if anyone could shed some insight on this small issue. |

i would do a :waitforchild() on the torso, as it may of not loaded yet. also r15 models don't use torsos. a good alternative would be humanoidrootpart or head if you're doing both r6 and r15.
although, for me to clarify more, i'd send a script out.
