So I'm playing animations on a horse from remote events, when I do a test server the animation only plays from the client of the player sending the signal to the animate function. The animation does not play on the server or any other client despite the script playing it being a server script. It is a very odd bug. To reiterate, the client does not play any of the horses' animations, they are only handled by the server.
I managed to make it work properly by having the script play an idle animation on the horse at the start of the game, then every animate signal works perfectly. Anyone have any ideas why this happens?
Also interesting to note that the base roblox horse's animations work initially, but after hopping on the horse I'm using, it's the same thing, the animations only play on the rider's client. |
