Hi Im HappyFeet and I have recently seen a lot of potential for the future of roblox and have an ambitious project that I would to make using Lua
Hence I would like to ask how long does it take to learn lua on average?
I have prior coding experience with java script, have taken HL IB math, and I am 17 years of age and regard my self as a fast learner
Thanks
Also: If possible what are the best possible UPDATED places to learn this langue |

| Well Lua is a easy programming language so it would probably take 3 months to be really good in it. I would prefer to watch yt tutorials like PeasPod or read the wiki: http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=AllTutorials |

If you're a fast learner, I'd recommend having someone take you under their wing as a student.

First of all: Thanks for all the willingness to help, this is a massive upgrade from the minecraft plugin community were everyone is too pluged up their own *** to even bother helping people
To the person above, what part of fourms could I find some one to take me under their wing? In my experience having a more experienced coder to lean on and ask questions is invaluable |

https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=33 would be the best option, however I'd recommend paying someone for some lessons.
Since you're going this route - https://www.roblox.com/develop/developer-exchange think of it as a business investment, 50% you'll make it back 50% you'll lose it all.
