This document outlines the various Adonis commands most useful for The Magical World of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It is geared specifically for professors, however other ranks (including those higher than moderator level permissions) may find it quite useful.

It is recommended to look through this even if you think you are accomplished at Adonis commands.

𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

𝐈. 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆
𝐈𝐈. 𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓
𝐈𝐈𝐈. 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆
𝐈𝐕. 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒

𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

:𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐬 (𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞)
I. If somebody is hiding what they say with "/e (message)", or you need to look back for a specific player/message, use this command.

:𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫) (𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞)
I. This will clearly give a warning to a player and record it in their logs.
II. Use “:warnings (player)” to look at their warnings.
III. Use “:clearwarnings (player)” to remove all their warnings

:𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐬/:𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐬
I. Displays all recent admin commands used.

:𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐞 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. If a player is spamming or breaking the rules by chatting, use this command to prevent them from talking. DO NOT MUTE ALL PLAYERS. Also do not mute students that are merely annoying or refuse to stop chatting. Use other punishments for that.
II. You might also consider using, ":mute (player) | !wait (time) | :unmute (player)" to automatically unmute them after a set amount of time.

:𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫) (𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧)
I. Kicks player from game. Only use when you HAVE to.

:𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫) (𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞)
I. Kicks player from game with a warning message.

:𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. Allows you to spectate target player. Helpful for collecting evidence on rule-breakers or determining the actions/locations of others.

:𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫(𝐬))
I. Stops target in their place. Only use this command as a last resort on a player who refuses to follow the rules. This is not a permanent solution.

:𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. Allows you to see what tools specific players have in order to obtain more information about them.

:𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐬
I. Brings up a list of all players with access to Adonis commands. Displays names and permission levels.

𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

:𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. Used to teleport others to you.
II. Don’t specify any player to teleport a few studs in front of you

:𝐭𝐨 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. Used to teleport next to a player

:𝐭𝐩 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫) (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. Teleports the first player to the second player.
II. You can also set waypoints with ":waypoint" where you're currently standing, and use the name of that waypoint instead of a name for the second player

:𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐩 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. Allows players to walk through walls.
II. Reverse effects by saying “:clip (player)”

:𝐟𝐥𝐲 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. Allows player to fly around the map fast.
II. Reverse by saying “:unfly (player)”

𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆

:𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬
I. Brings up a directory of all current commands in the Adonis admin script. Use this to learn about commands rather than testing them out.

:𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫(𝐬)) (𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫,𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫,𝐞𝐭𝐜) (𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧)
I. Sets up a poll in which professors can ask students their thoughts, what to do next, and etc.
II. Also useful for quizzes, although you can’t determine who was right and who wasn’t.

:𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫) (𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞)
I. Gives players a notification message that doesn’t go away until they click out of it.
II. Useful for announcing the next classes.

:𝐧 (𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞)
I. Gives all players in game a message. Use this to get attention quickly

:𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 (𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞)
I. Useful for creating a timer, such as how long to get to a class, or a short duel timer countdown.

:𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫) (𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥)
I. Useful for giving players stuff like wands or brooms in case they have none.

𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒

:𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. If a player is misusing their wand in some way, use this command to take it away. Make sure you only select a single player. DO NOT REMOVE TOOLS FROM EVERYBODY. Only use after warning them first.

:𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐭 (𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭) (𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐥) (𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝)
I. Used to repeat a command multiple times. Especially useful if you want to disable a tool from somebody temporarily. For example, “:repeat 50 15 :removetools SomePlayerName” will remove tools from that player every 15 seconds for a total of 50 times (12 minutes and 30 seconds total).
II. To cancel a repeat early, just use, “:abort me (command)”, where command is the exact command you were looping.

:𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫) (𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧)
I. Kicks player from game. Only use when you HAVE to.

:𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫) (𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞)
I. Kicks player from game with a warning message.

:𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐰𝐧 (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫)
I. Target player will be respawned. Useful if student is ignoring all warnings.

:𝐣𝐚𝐢𝐥
I. Command used as a last resort to stop a target player from fleeing/attacking/disobeying.
II. Command to undo the jail command is :unjail
III. If the target player leaves the game before you can unjail, use :clear to remove cell.
