| As far as I've heard, creating a BlurEffect for a single gui and making it visible only when the gui is visible is pretty easy, but I've tried it and I can't figure it out. Is anyone able to create a script that will work? |

So far I've had two questions today.
I've made 8 or 9 scripts without any help today.
So no, I'm not relying on you or anyone to do all of my work.
If you're unwilling to help, then there's no use for you to post here. |

I don't mean to offend you, I'm just telling you not to rely on us to answer every single on of your questions.
I already helped you earlier with that badge script.

@OAuth I am asking for help lol
If I don't know how to create a script for this, and I didn't understand even with them telling me how (in a previous thread), then the help I need would be the actual script.
I always try to help to the best of my ability, so when I need help, I ask. |

@Explode And I'm glad you did help me with that, and I don't expect or require anyone to help me. But if you or anyone is feeling generous, I'd appreciate the help.
If I understand something, I don't come here and ask for others to do it for me, I only ask when I'm stuck and have no idea. |

Code in LocalScript in TextButton
local size = 50 local blur = Instance.new("BlurEffect") local frame = script.Parent.Parent.Frame local plr = game.Players.LocalPlayer
blur.Enabled = true blur.Size = size blur.Parent = workspace.CurrentCamera if blur.Enabled == true then end
script.Parent.MouseButton1Click:connect(function() if frame.Visible == false then blur.Size = 40 frame.Visible = true else blur.Size = 0 frame.Visible = false end end)

Whoops, forgot to take out the plr part.
That was for an old experiment I was using to lock the player's character when the blur was enabled.

| I keep on going over it, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is there anything I'm supposed to change? |

Do you have a frame and the correct parents?

Are you trying to make a blur intro or a blur background when you open and close a frame?

Still not working. I'll try to figure it out tomorrow.
Thanks for all of the help though. |

Fixed.
Place a blur effect in Lighting and then place this code into a localscript in the button.
local blur = game.Lighting.Blur local size = game.Lighting.Blur.Size local frame = script.Parent.Parent.Frame
script.Parent.MouseButton1Click:connect(function() if frame.Visible == false then blur.Enabled = true frame.Visible = true else blur.Enabled = false frame.Visible = false end end)

You can throw this in there to make it so the blur isn't enabled when a player joins.
blur.Enabled = false

| The blur.Enabled = false didn't work. It's still popping up at the beginning. |

Change the size to 0.
Then when a player clicks change the size to whatever you'd like.

You can also uncheck enabled in lighting, which would be easier.

| To answer your question above, not an intro, I'm trying to get it to open and close with a frame. |
