If you are searching then you're doing it wrong, search for small things, like, how to make a part follow something, or something like that.

What do you mean that didn't work for you...
You want a part following the player at a controlled speed, it's all there aside from the player bit.

i would figure it would be something based around making a model that spawns and is targeted to a part of your players body and then you would have to create a minimum and max range that the part can be away from the player before it starts moving and as for the moving at a controlled speed you just have tweak the correct Cframe value
for the Min and Max Range i would personally use 2 Sphere parts that are anchored to your basepart and disable cancollide on em
that's just my 2 cents on the subject |

there's these neat things called free models. there is probably a few free models that do what you need done, just look at how the model does it and apply it on your own.
and before anyone starts roasting me, im not telling him to use a free model, only look at how they did it so he can apply it himself.
