so ive gotten into pyramid workouts now and ive been able to do them consistently for my entire 5 day split. any advice on that? what do u guys do with pyramid workouts in particular.

maintain consistency and discipline or else youre just not gonna benefit from them
pyramid workouts are for people with the willpower to challenge themselves to do more each and every time
what i used to do is after a week of pyramids i would up the weight and keep going

emerald im not sure if i can do that every week cause im not at that yet. did you change your diet all? i still do that macros calculator thing but i used to simply eat more protein and less carbs after the workout and switch that beforehand.

| I do 2 days at the gym, 1 break day etc, it's for the body to rest. |

My grandparents live nextdoor and they have weights that I lift. I just do that and eat/drink lots of protein oriented stuff.
Keeps me from being a pipsqueak but I'm no Tyler1. |

I think you need at least a break day 2 per week would be good, don't take off sunday/saturday
Make it like this
Monday Tuesday BREAK Thursday Friday BREAK Sunday Monday BREAK ETC, you need breaks to have progress ask any body builder, you need rest. |

my dieting has always been high protein med carb breakfast/preworkout + protein shake and post workout/high carbs and healthy fats
i had a weight problem though so i'd probably not do exactly what i did, and if you cant do it every week at least try upping weight every 3 weeks at first, it really builds you, and dont go every day, its unhealthy for your body id go mon, wed, fri, and tues and thurs would be core days

| Hit abs right before you do pyramid workouts, doesn't even have to be intense you will still burn mass calories |

| If you are fat, (don't know if you are) the best way to do it is to RUN, no special food is going to help you, only limiting food you eat may help in that progress. Running 1-3 miles makes the magic of fat start to go away. |

nah hatehouse im not fat just a bit scrawny but hell thats why im going. so far the 5 day split is working, i do 1 muscle per day and then start over again at the beginning of the week.
@infrared, 6 foot 2 and 175 pounds
