I have been thinking of a good idea for a game for a while now, and yesterday I had one that I think could be decently successful. I'm sure we all know of them cancerous fort building videos (based in stores) on YouTube, as they are very popular. These gave me the idea of creating a game where you have to survive in a fort without being caught by an employee overnight, and money is manipulated for every hour. With the money, you would be able to purchase decorations for your fort, and possibly armour for it... The employee would walk around with a random path, and if you are in their line of sight while in the fort (or trying to create it), and you aren't covered by any object, you would get kicked out of the store and receive a fine. The products that you would use to create the fort would have physics, meaning that they can be pushed over by customers (Which can also get you kicked out if detected), and I could also make it so that the customers take items off your fort. I know it's a clickbaity idea, but it could end up being quite fun I guess. Feedback?

I love that idea. An idea I have to add onto that is essentials meters such as Food, Water, Bladder, and Happiness. You should be able to stock up on consumables in your base and try to survive. If your food, happiness, or water meter is low, your speed decreases. Too long without food/water and you lose the game. If your bladder level is low, then go to the nearest restroom (each map has at least one restroom). If you don't, then you will... go in your fort. If this occurs, your happiness (and the happiness of your fellow fort-mates) will decrease. Once you clean the mess up, your happiness of you and said fort-mates will start to increase again. Another idea of mine has to be different stores. You can make a party group with up to 15 other friends (16 people total) and all join a server. The party leader can choose a store (Toys R Us, Ikea, Costco, etc.), and each store will have different traits. These traits determine the difficulty level of the store. Ideas for traits are popularity, shelf size, and consumption likeliness. Popularity would mean density of customers in the store (Toys R Us usually has lots of children, meaning higher likelihood of being caught). Shelf size determines how large your fort is (Ikea, Costco would have large shelves). Consumption likeliness means how likely it is that products would be taken off the shelf. (This would be high in stores like Toys R Us).
I hope you consider my idea, and I think we should work together on this game. (I can't script, but i can build pretty well.) |

I actually REALLY like the idea about having traits in each different store, as it would spice the game up a bit. Also, I actually already thought of having a thirst and hunger system, but never thought of adding happiness, which could actually be linked to the decorations, maybe some items increase your happiness, you can buy toilets etc. When I have started developing the game, I will contact you if I need help, but thanks so much for the suggestions, they'll help out a LOT!

Bump. I'm not sure how much scripting experience this'll require, as I am obviously limited to my skills (and robux), could anyone estimate how hard of a build this is gonna be? And more feedback in general on the idea would be nice.

I am learning about scripting and building currently, and would love to help you if you would accept me?

^ I'm trying to work alone as much as possible on this project to make it as convenient as I possibly can, so sadly I will have to say no, but good luck learning to script my man!

I just wanted some feedback on the idea, also I doubt someone else would make this. If they do, creds to them.
