"Can both intvalues and numbervalues become negative numbers?"
Test it, moron. Look up what integers and doubles are.
"And guy above me you need to learn how to chill especially on a kids site"
This isn't a kids' site.

well there are unsigned integer values, just not as roblox instances.
either way, the dude who said you should just look it up is right, this post is useless go do some research when you have a question before coming here. |

| And last question in what instances would I want to use intvalues, and not numbervalues, and vise versa? |

Int: To store ints
Number: To store doubles

are u serious?
let me break it down again:
int values store INTEGERS, which are POSITIVE and NEGATIVE WHOLE NUMBERS THEREFORE, NO DECIMAL VALUES
number values store REAL NUMBERS (which are subject to rounding and floating point errors) THEREFORE, YES DECIMAL VALUES
you would use an INT VALUE when you only want to store INTEGERS you would use a NUMBER VALUE when you want to store more than just INTEGERS
if you don't know which to use, just use NUMBER VALUES, because they can hold any values that an INT VALUE can hold

Thanks @aggressive, btw if any of you people want to help anybody with a neutral question you don't have to become aggressive. Just keep that in mind if you want to go into customer service.
And I admit I could have stayed my question clearer, just at least give me the same answer and no banter |

IntValues for things that don't need to have decimals
NumberValues for things that do
Simple enough |

| i still feel like storing stuff in a string using %bxy and separators is probabably better than using arrays or values |

"you don't have to become aggressive. Just keep that in mind if you want to go into customer service."
sorry, but this isn't customer service. we aren't paid employees. we do this for free and it's an annoyance when people waste our time asking questions that you can easily find the answers to by googling

@aggressive this is the last time I'm gonna reply to you then I'm gonna block, but first off I never said this was customer service and second if I'm wasting your time don't answer, you probably are on the forums all day anyway
P.s. even if this is not customer service it's nice to be respectful in the first place, you and others are lucky you can trash talk with the protection of a screen |
