im making a 2d game
(if u wanna see it) https://www.roblox.com/games/148110952
and im trying to get the fps to lock at 30
the reason why is the game's performance drops down to 30 with a little over 60 objects on the screen.
ik my game is going to have more than 60 objects, and I just want the frames to be consistent.
how do I do this? |

local ev = Instance.new("BindableEvent", *Insert location here*) local val = 1 game:GetService("RunService").HeartBeat:Connect(function() val = val + 1 if val%2 == 0 then ev:Fire() val = 1 end end) local HalfBeat = ev.Event
To use this use HalfBeat:Connect(function()end)

| Making everything change at a lower rate will cause smoother FPS. You can decrease the FPS even further for background stuff. |
