Have high GPA and high test scores (and take the most challenging classes you can)

| I would never be able to get in since I'm not really good at remembering boring things and yes I could look for something interesting but then I just lose interest.. |

| Sorry kid. You need a lot more than a 4.0 GPA and AP Classes to get into Cambridge or Harvard. That's the same stats I had and the best school I got into was the University of North Carolina. |

| We talked about this in our AP #### class a bit because our teacher went to a congregation of colleges explaining what they want to see mostly: They want to see that you are a well rounded student, who is actively engaged in a community and can function in the real world. Give them as much about yourself as you can in your essay and don't short yourself ever, because it all counts. Grades and scores should follow ~Neo |

this is false
if you do a good combination of extra curriculars, like band or orchestra and still have a decent gpa like a 3.5+ you can get into a good school.
and your test scores don't matter as much, colleges are starting to not look at them and judging you completely off of them because one test shouldnt make up your entire highschool performance. |

Actually what you said is false. Maybe trashy schools don't look at test scores. Test scores are the separator between kids who have high GPAs and are talented and kids who have high GPAs and go to an easy high school.
A 3.5 GPA will not get you into any top tier University. Maybe a trashy public university or unknown private university. |

No I said if you did a combination of things a long with the 3.5
I have a 3.9 and I partake in orchestra, but my test scores are average. |
