I can't be asked to write about this so I'll just post what I sent to Roblox Support.
-begin Hello.
This isn't a billing or account issue, but this is definitely an issue that I need resolved. Since the forum has proven itself futile for help in this matter, there was no one else for me to contact but this address. So sorry if you're not used to this sort of email.
I am the leader of a small group on Roblox, and though I don't use this email often, it is the email linked to my account (RagoNemesisDie) to confirm that I am me, and I would like to say two things to you, both concerning my group.
You can find the group here: https://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=3148745
Number one
The the main reason I decided to make this email is an issue with my main game called City of Gatesgrad.
https://www.roblox.com/games/847377972/City-of-Gatesgrad Reuploaded version: https://www.roblox.com/games/940882550/City-of-Gatesgrad-2
Recently, I and our small team of developers decided we were going to build an expansion of the city called XP Square. (Yes, this is literally a nation based on Windows. But surprisingly enough, I take it very seriously and put a lot of energy into it, and it means a lot to me.) We started to build onto this square and all was good.
That was, until I decided I'd join a game.
I went on play mode, and one of the developers (robloxrepairer) was waiting for me. But when I had spawned in, there was a message at the top of the window in a red box and white writing;
"This game has shut down." Annoyed by this, I told him that my game had shut down and I tried to rejoin, but no matter what, it kept coming up with the same message until eventually I managed to get into the game.
At first I thought this was a personal issue. Until I got one of my other developers (SirGordonBrown) to try and join. And again, he got the fateful message, "This game has shut down."
Whenever we got this message, the server had never actually shut down, just we'd been kicked out shortly after the game loaded.
I will also note that the game takes extremely long to load, about a minute or two.
So I said to my developers "Hey, this is probably a game issue, I'll re-upload Gatesgrad to a new game." On this game, I am now successfully able to join without the message. Success, right? Issue resolved!
Unfortunately not.
The aforementioned SirGor.donBrown tried to join. And what does he get? "This game has shut down." An ex-developer, centraltrains, who is very experienced in coding and computer science suggested that maybe one of the developers was too lazy to build their own stuff and put in a free model which was infected. So I have gone through loads of scripts looking for code that might kick you from the game but I've not been successful, and we all agree we NEED something to be done about this! None of us know what it could be at this point, but all we know is that: 1) The Roblox file is over 8 megabytes. I'm not sure if that's normal or excessively big, but I've seen bigger games with smaller file sizes. 2) All kick scripts (which were added at one point earlier by centraltrains - who has now resigned from his position as I mentioned) have been removed from the game and we are CERTAIN of it. I've spent ages checking for them. 3) None of us know how to script to the point of doing this. -end email
If there are any skilled developers reading this who would want a downloadable version of this game, please contact me with your Discord. |

if you are only experiencing the issue with your game specifically then i don't think contacting roblox customer support will be very beneficial
it's very easy to put in a free model something like "game.Players:ClearAllChildren()" and shut down a game by force

Have you tried playing it in Studio and seeing if any strange error messages come up in the output?
I'd say that there's a good chance some LocalScript gets stuck on an infinite loop or something, causing the client to disconnect from the server
If you've crawled through all the code and haven't found anything relating to player kicks, then it's likely not your problem |

| Play it in a Studio server, and read the output. |
