So many people ask this, and I wish I could get them to believe this:
You just have to go and do it. Stop asking other people where to go; YOU need to take the initiative and force yourself to learn. You'll find plenty of resources from a simple search. Don't give up; teaching yourself this way IS possible. This how I did it seven years ago. |

how can one learn on their own if they dont have any exp or know where to find anything on how it works, people have to see examples and how stuff works to do something.
not a single person in this world can just be like oh I want to code and just be able to do it, they have to know where to get started lol...

Like I said, I learned how to script via my own motivation.
It's actually very simple. Let's say I want to learn what loops are. I just type the word "loops" in the search bar on the wiki and read their article on it. Even if I didn't know to go to the wiki, I could type "lua loops" on Google and find what I desire.
I really hope you can do this without needing someone to tell you how. From there, one things leads to another and you are on your way. |

To quote my first post:
"You'll find plenty of resources from a simple search."
So it has always been the latter. |
