Section I. Reason
a.) Article I. Section 4. Clause 4. of the Constitution states, "No Senator or Representative shall, during the time for which they were elected, be appointed to any other civil office, under the authority of the United States. But their House may, by a vote of two-thirds, remove such disability if they have resigned their membership therein, and the office was not created, nor any additional powers added, during their continuance in Congress."
b.) Former Representative Carson1702 has been nominated by President SurpriseParty to become the Central Intelligence Agency Director.
c.) Former Representative Carson1702 was in Class II of the United States House of Representatives and said term has not ended yet.
d.) Former Representative Carson1702 will require a 2/3 vote in the affirmative to be approved to become the Central Intelligence Agency Director.
Section II.
a.) After a 2/3 vote in the affirmative has been reached, Representative Carson1702 will be exempt from the ineligibility clause as per the given grounds in Article I. Section 4. Clause 4. of the Constitution.
