I know most of you have stopped playing Roblox games long ago. At least old OT did, I'm actually not sure if that sort of tradition is still around.
Roblox is still growing, faster than ever really, and they're making awesome stuff (yes anthro bodies are cool if you think about it in a technical sense). Devs are making some really cool games, too, that'll definitely be worth a play.
Go ahead and go inactive for awhile, I guess, but keep an eye out, eh? |

@TDWT46OWENBACKUP Good place to stay in contact, yes.
@bl_e I'll probably post a bit, but definitely not as much as I used to.
... Not that I ever posted very fast.
@TheClosedCloset Unfortunately small dev groups can only update their games and create new games so fast. Thankfully Roblox is getting more devs, though.
@Yatoumori OT's had it coming a long time. Anyone who's been here a month should easily be able to tell why.
@Korkskrew Is that an actual game, or are you just saying Roblox's future is going to be rad or something?
@NirshaX Those will take a bit to get used to, but I'll enjoy them.
@A_Ferret Cool!

Yes, they're making very awesome and innovative things, but they're also trashing other features that tons of people loved but the developer forums gets first word so there's that.
I will probably stick around but if you even remotely recognize me you know that I rarely post(which probably means that i'll never be recognizable for anyone) so depending on how things roll out on the new subforum I may or may not post even less (or even more if it ends up being fun, which would be interesting considering the present backlash) |

Most of the new games are generic copies of real games that you could buy. They are too complex sometimes for their own good ( unecessary gui and show-off loading screens to name a few).
Take a game like galleons for example, simple, fun and not too complex.
Since when was simplicity frowned upon? |

@Fastlane250sAlt I'm surprised Outside is still a popular game.
@Loopenquack Perhaps one day you'll see things my way.
@Kopostor I still think those randomized Hunger Games things are rigged.
@Derrick_Dezmond I've basically been telling myself that since I started. Been over a decade and haven't left yet.
@MICHAEL936 While some of their updates come as a surprise, I don't dislike them, and a lot of them make sense, when I think about it.
This forum update makes a lot of sense, for example. Just need to think on all the points.. Plus I've talked to some Roblox staff buddies of mine about it, so.
@NeuroByted Well, hope to see you one day, then...
@Ashmyte I like to think of Roblox as a blessing, heh. |

@GodKarres Replayability is very important in a game, and more complex games offer a lot more to do. Plus these folks want to out perform each other since they can make real money from this, now.
Also, free games are great because anyone can play them, meaning it's just about garunteed that the game isn't gonna die and you'll have to buy some "new version" of the game. |

I'm fine with the forum update because the forums really don't mean as much to me as they might another.
I realize there are some people who agree with certain updates that others don't, but I was just talking about things like the removal of server lists, and such.
I do know why these updates are occurring, I just don't think they are the right approach for it. |

"When the masses demanded more"
Thats why i prefer the old roblox of 2008, everyone could contribute their games and people would generally play them.
There were a sense of equality since not many knew back then how to to script or how to do it in a professional fashion.
But now, if you cant script, then you are screwed since people favour flashy bling in comparison to simplistic creativity. (Not saying that all scripted games are like that) |
