some people actually know about pc.
if they have been with pc for quite some time, they know the community, they know how pc is like.
here comes the rage of autism from my mind |

"What do you hate about PC? Can you please elaborate?"
it's not as good as everyone likes to say it is
Steam may have a ton of game but only about 1% - 2% are actually worth playing (due to all the awful indie games that kept being greenlit through the years)
in order to take full advantages of PC you'll also need to drop at least $1,000
PC community makes up the smallest community of gaming (at about 26%) and also is pretty bad |

"Steam may have a ton of game but only about 1% - 2% are actually worth playing" You're just using steam. There are many other ways to find good games without it.
"in order to take full advantages of PC you'll also need to drop at least $1,000" Around 200-300 is also fine if you're not trying to play DooM 4 or whatever. It should be able to run most games and a copy of Windows 7 if you want to actually play games.
"PC community makes up the smallest community of gaming" Pay to win mobile games don't count. |

"You're just using steam. There are many other ways to find good games without it."
Besides Origin and a few other platforms by companies, Steam is really only where you're going to find new releases
I'm not going to search the internet for hours just to find games that some people made on their PC during their spare time
"Around 200-300 is also fine if you're not trying to play DooM 4 or whatever. It should be able to run most games and a copy of Windows 7 if you want to actually play games."
I said full advantages, not the minimal to play games
"Pay to win mobile games don't count."
Even then, PC gaming is still smaller then the console community |

@CatBoy
I don't know why you put besides for those platforms. those are the answers. Though I am not much into EA, lots of AAA titles are found in Origin and some from UPlay.
You can buy a cheap prebuilt with a fairly modern processor on ebay and slap in a GTX 1050 ti. GTX 750 Ti can also run DOOM 4 at playable speed although you have to play at low settings at a max of 1080p
Your last statement is absolutely false. |

"I don't know why you put besides for those platforms. those are the answers."
Origin has mostly EA games, and some of them are also available on Steam (it's mostly their newer games that aren't)

Again, I said full advantages, not the minimum |

@CatBoy
Steam itself is a good platform. You seem to criticize it just because it has lots of low quality indie games. While that is true, it does not automatically mean it is a bad platform. There is a fair share of bad and good games.
I don't know what you mean when you say "full advantages" |

Not really fair share when it's 98% bad games and 2% games worth playing
"I don't know what you mean when you say "full advantages""
Stable 60 FPS or higher & maxxed out graphic settings
The stuff people people say PC gaming has as advantages |

| @CatBoy Just because there are lots of bad games does not mean there aren't good ones either. Most good titles still release on Steam. It is nice to have choice. Anyway, Steam green light is going anyway. GTX 1050 Ti can maintain stable 60fps with high settings. You could also slap in a mini ITX GTX 1060/1070 card in a prebuilt and it would still be pretty cheap. If the PSU is not good enough, EVGA has a couple of cheap PSUs which are actually pretty good. An RX #### card is also coming out which claims to be equal to GTX 1080 but cheaper so that may also be an option. |

But like I mentioned, the amount of bad games do outnumber the good games
"Anyway, Steam green light is going anyway."
Which is a good thing |

That's personal opinion. Compared to console, that 2% still have more games worth playing than console.
"Stable 60 FPS or higher & maxxed out graphic settings"
Because consoles have a "Stable 60 FPS or higher" and "maxxed out graphic settings", right? Buying a pc with the same price will still outperform a console.

That describes pretty much anything. Movies, platforms, TV, ect. There will always be more bad than good. |

I never really thought PC was superior, I just preferred to use it.
PCs are frankly quite expensive to get to a state of being able to run most games.
Consoles on the other hand are overall cheaper in the sense of getting maximum performance right off the bat for getting the system. (provided you have a stable internet connection.)
I just prefer PCs though because I feel more "control" with a keyboard and mouse, using a controller just feels awkward to me. |

I really only bother with consoles for exclusives, really. PC isn't perfect but it's still my go-to.

Except those 2% on Steam are also available on console most of the time |
