Yes and no.
Some people are born with a knack for it, much like any other skill. But just because it doesn't come easy it doesn't mean you can't learn. |

if you wanted to rename something you get the path and rename it, it's that simple. want to change the color of a part, get the path to the part and change the color, it's just common sense.
if you have a part in workspace and you want to change the color and you do game.Lighting.Part.BrickColor instead of workspace.Part.BrickColor then you're a moron.
not saying people who cant script are morons, but if you actually try anyone can do it. i've done stuff i'd never though was possible for me to do, so i know for a fact if i can do this anyone can.

The way my pre-calculus teacher taught me heavily influenced my understanding of code.
From what he taught me I took that understanding and programmed my Ti-84 calculator in a BASIC language to do my physics and math work.
Me enjoying math helped even more. Math helps with your logic skills. But this is not needed. People have different practices on how to become a better code.
But anyways I remembered this kids game that had the ability to create and code so I came back to roblox and just started to code. Didn't know the language. But I just started and would look up on the wiki what i didn't know and like literally in the weeks that I started I could do a fair bit if I tried.
I would try until I actually made what i was trying to do.
One thing that was the hard part is that I was too persistent. I realized that I had to have a clear mind so sleeping was a must.
So there was a learning curve obviously and some struggle. This should be for everyone. I suggest to try something that will make you click and truly understand it.
I remember I read lua . org the whole website and just everything fell into place. This was after I tried and tried to make stuff. I had some understanding of the language and what it could do but just actually knowing what each little thing for each procedure gave a like "all-knowing" feeling.

Exactly what @cntkillme said.
Some things are just easier to pickup for some people, but anyone can learn to code.
The logic of programming is just one aspect. Without knowledge of what you're programming you will get no where. How would you expect to create a graphics engine without being proficient in 3D maths?
Also, programming isn't for everyone, some people just don't like it enough to get good at it as it takes a long time, and is a practice that involves constant learning.
You can teach a man to program, but you can't make him like it. |

@ahwz makes some excellent points in his post.
It didn't take me long to realize that setting around all day reading page after page of super long text books wasn't the way I learned best. By the time I got to the end of a book I had forgotten half of what I read!
It wasn't until I said the heck with that and started just creating stuff, and using google, etc. as my reference that I started to get better and started to actually really understand how things worked. Nothing beats hands on learning, but you do need a firm grasp on the fundamentals of programming first or else you'll get no where fast. |

| it doesen't come naturally, it's really just about motivation. once you understand most of the basic stuff and how coding generally is (logical for instance), it will become easier to learn new topics |
