Can someone help me, in my game the people will be able to buy characters from a store and be them, I already have a starter character.
I have already tried copying a model into the player and then ungrouping it and it works until you die, then nothing happens.
Is there a script to changing a players look on studio, kinda like they do on dinosaur simulator and wild savahana. Thanks. |

wot
If it's going to maintain R6/R15, then you could just clone the model's contents into the player without actually replacing the body parts (not sure if this would work well with R15 and packages).
If you're talking about morphs that are outside of just regular ROBLOXian appearance, you'd just make your character invisible, then use welds to clone the morph parts and stick them onto the character. |

@Tommy
then you are just going to have to get all the shirts and hats of that character and clone it into the player |

| The character is not a roblox character and I think it might just include all of the parts in the custom character but then make things invisible and non invisible. Thanks for replying and all the characters are not very different so I will just make a script to make the extra body parts and change the colours of the character. Unless there is a better way that anyone knows about? |

So since you referenced Dinosaur Simulator, I'll use a dinosaur as an example.
The animation for moving the tail and such will be difficult, but if you just want a still creature/morph, then you can just weld everything the character and make the character itself invisible. Also, you can make arms and legs move the way they usually do by welding the arm parts to the character's arms rather than their torso and so on. To weld using scripts, you should probably use CFrame:inverse() |
