I'm trying to do something that requires me to generate multiple terrains in multiple places far from eachother. Is it possible to spawn terrain around different coordinates than 0, 0, 0? |

| I've never tried. I don't work with terrain generators. There may be a plugin you can use to generate terrain at different coordinates. |

Yes it is possible. You can make a model of terrain and copy/paste it anywhere. Use terrain tools.
OR
My friend Egomoose redid a terrain platform that allows you to move it around also. Original platform was done by crazyman32 I believe. You can find it in freemodels. |

| @Wrought_Bloxton So it would be possible to have multiple different terrains in different areas for different levels? |

Yes. with the save/load terrain plugin you can move whole terrains to other places. Made by egomoose.
In terrain tools you can save regions of terrain , by dragging a box around it and copy/paste it. |

| I would write a script that would only load each level when you are on it. I can imagine having separate large levels like that all present at once potentially causing some users to experience intense lag. |

@feisty I believe that roblox only shows so far a distance with terrain instead of drawing the whole map so the lag wouldn't be that bad.
But either way you do it the option to script new terrains is also possible as long as you make a model of the terrains and save them, then use the saves in a script. |

I figured out how to create multiple terrains but now there's an issue using the plugin. It wants to replicate ALL the terrain that's been created and clearing terrain would also clear all of it. |

With egomoose's plugin, I made two terrains into one map. (RO City 2015) the plugin will place the new map at 0 but then you can change the coordinates. It is tricky to use as the whole terrain is shown in studio.
With the regions tool in terrain tools I think you can make saves of terrain and move them easily. |

| I figured it out. I simply made a terrain in a temporary map. Saved that, copied the saved terrain, pasted into my main world and put the block where I want, hit load, and boom. Thank you so much. |
