i mean i have a dual core it's decent enough for roblox
3.0 GHz
i used to see roblox making my cpu go to like 20% --->45%
in most games
but now it's like a constant 90%--->100% usage
i've rebooted my computer
i've checked my task manager for any potential programs that would use my cpu
and i've asked my friends to check their CPU usage on roblox they said it's 3x higher than usual please fix it it's giving me frame drops in R2DA.

Core count nor GHz determine how fast a CPU is. I've seen dual core 3.4 GHz CPUs slow enough that they can't even handle ROBLOX (if you're curious, Pentium D 945)
Nevertheless, it's most likely Windows doing background updates. Try and disable that, there's a lot of guides about it and it can seriously slow down your computer.

Yes i realize that but atleast a dual core wouldn't be slow enough to not be able to run roblox
i could run
watch dogs (struggles a bit)
payday 2 and even more games on it
but today is just bad and my cpu is a pentium G2030 + i've checked task manager
roblox is taking up to 80% of my cpu somehow and there are no backgrounds
yesterday roblox was just fine being at 10%-20% usage from my total cpu usage

There could be many reasons for this:
You could have adware on your PC (If downloaded a program.) I suggest you run some anti-virus program on your PC, as I suggest Malwarebytes.
Maybe ROBLOX had a performance update, and it takes more CPU for whatever it updated. (Graphics, etc..)
It might even depend on what game you're playing. Some games take more power to load and play.
There could be even more reasons. Message me on discord and I can discover your issue even further. If you do not have discord, no worries! Just PM me on ROBLOX and I could also figure out your issue. Yet, I can get a better take on it using discord.

1. Roblox could have done something in update. This mostly could occur when roblox hasn't fully finished the update.
2. Drivers are out of date.
3. After windows 10 update 80% chance drivers needs to be reinstalled. Do this by going to device manager then into display adapter and uninstalling your drive that could be NVIDIA GeFroce. And after uninstall just restart your computer. |

| OK this is the simple version. You either are running out of RAM space, or you have too many programs open. It happens w me all the time. |

@vineshroom
Well i've no idea how would these dual cores fail to run roblox
assuming old drivers or dust because these two are the main problems that slows down a computer or makes it overheat

@ballr4life
i have a scheduled scan every 4 days w/ my malware bytes but imma try to scan it once again to actually see if something is wrong
there wasn't any graphics update tbh and i tried reducing the graphics in game to the point where it goes to 1 bar only but no difference
and i only play "reason 2 die:awakening" mostly this game isn't a problem for me

Cleaning your computer wont reduce CPU usage. its just a bug from the recent updates, something is using much more of people CPU's than usual, dual cores are being effected the most because of limited thread counts.
Your computer should handle roblox just fine (and i presume it did before), just wait for a patch. Nothing improving the physics engine was done in the last update, so its not an intended change for the game to get this demanding.
Also a Pentium D 945 can totally handle Roblox, i can still play roblox on a 3.4ghz Pentium 4 Extreme Edition SL7CH, a Pentium D is fine.
