I'm trying really hard to copy Microsoft's NT kernel (architecturally), but have POSIX be the default 'personality' rather than Win32.
Thus, it's reallllllyyyyyyyy easy for drivers to be ported from Windows to it.
So you can do your cat and ls and dir and nano and all that fun stuff. vi doesn't work get, nor does bash (very basic sh shell right now), but it WORKS.
ITS ALIVE!!!!!
tl;dr: it can have better hardware support than linux, since porting is SUPER easy to it.
