| I have a simple question. I'm currently creating custom chat box for the game, and I'd like to know if there is a method or function that can detect a player clicking outside/away from the TextBox where the player types in a message. The only function that I know of that may solve the issue is the ########### function, but I'd have to loop a function checking every second or so, and I believe there a more efficient way to deal with the problem. Any help is appreciated. |

The wiki is a magical place. It has answers to your questions and those you haven't thought to ask yet. wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/TextBox/FocusLost |

Sorry, I got confused with that function.
I originally thought that it only fired when you pressed the "Enter" button xD
Thanks anyways. |

| You can do a mouseleave function that activates another function that does what you want when MouseButton1:connect |
