Got bored, added a whole lot of new stuff to this demo place. Tell me what you think
https://www.roblox.com/games/281454765/bit-o-sewers
New stuff includes the electrical conduits, boxes and such on the back wall, the Shelf with the TV on top, the Record player and speaker, and the computer desk near where you spawn. Up next im going to add more details to that computer desk, and probably a filing cabinet, maybe a rug of some sorts, thinking a 7 segment sort of digital clock, but the issue there is how on earth do i script it, either i can make an array of actual segmented numbers up on a timer, or just use GUI's, but that feels a bit cheap. Making the animated screens was an absolute pain but they look really nice. It took a while to get a proper glowing effect on the screens but with the bloom and semi transparent neon overlays, it came out looking as i wanted it to. |

Well im kind of torn between going with .1 and .25 brick bases for most stuff or going all out and doing 50% of it in meshes. Like the floppy disk drives on the PC for example are meshes, i cant work in under .1 for anything fine because the outlines for bricks just get to be too much.
I kind of like the .25 look for things like the wood and all that, keeps it clean. |

download the 'model resize' plugin and build all your props at maybe 10 times their actual size so you can add more fine detail, then scale them down

also the studio build suite plugin gives you more utility with c-framing than vanilla tools
