Instead of getting rid of server list all together, how about:
To view the server lists, you're required to have a verified email.
I think that'll help cut down 99.9999% of the bots lurking and sending friend requests to people.

According to a claim made by a moderator, bots would generate emails and use them.

Why don't they just show the number of players in the server and which friends are in it?
Seriously who cares about the people themselves, its the amount of people that matters right?

@LBP That's true. I think that might be the best solution to the problem.
Get rid of usernames on the server list and just show the amount of people in the server.

Slayer,
The Roblox team is looking into making a matchmaking system that will filter from largest to least and vice versa.
"I use the server list to find a empty / full server. How can I do this now?
We will see if we can add an option to the matchmaking to customize for server size."
They are working with current devforum members for a better solution from the bots. I'm sure they'll pull off something.

You could still get the endpoints from the thumbs by converting the rbxcdn to userids and back to the regular username.

Well I just hope I can join low population servers again. Also why even provide any data about the players, just show the number of players in it?
Like:
8 out of 50 Players
Join Server

Well it's kind of annoying they disabled this, even temporarily. The verified email thing sounds alright, but bots can probably just make emails, it might slow them down a bit though.
