Roblox has updated so that you may only view servers that your friends are in.
Due to this update. There is a list of problems that should remove this new update from roblox.
List of reasons why you should remove this update:
- If a server is glitched or exploited you will probably not be able to join a different server due to your friend maybe being afk, (away from keyboard or idle) and not noticing anything, and will not leave due to his/her not noticing the server is unplayable.
- If you want to join a fresh server without people being full, you will not be able to find a new server that is new. There is reasons why people want new servers, but I won't point them out.
- When you are trying to find a server that is almost full and want to join it, you won't be able to, due to the new update that only lets you view friends that are in a server.
- Servers might lag for many reasons, again I will not put reasons why. But if you are trying to find a server that doesn’t lag and you keep joining that server (Happened to me by the way.) This will cause the player to give up and wait for a few hours until a new server pops up.
So I have readed that roblox has added a reason behind this and I’ll break it down. I will be copying and pasting a few paragraphs, and why I disagree with it.
- “The primary reason behind this change is to prevent bots from scraping server lists” You can get many ideas to avoid this. Add less time being idle, the amount of time to get kicked for being idle is 20. Lessen that to a reasonable number to avoid bots for being afk. Also you can make it so that you need to wait until you can play a game when you made a new account.
Well I’m tired now, just add in why this update should be removed. But we don’t want this to be forgotten. I want this to remind roblox to get past these ideas that ruins how we play ####### ## to do this, I’m gonna start to a thread that should help the “Bot Issue” - Hitmale

Sorry Wabble. But this isn't a petition, I simply want ideas why you should remove this update and ideas to avoid bots.

If you read the dev forum about the update, you would know they are adding options for the Play button to do things like avoid joining your friends and finding a small servers.
I'm pretty sure ROBLOX finds servers that are hosted near you (which means the less laggy one? idk).

| Even if you leave and join the server again, more than once it'll put you in the same server that you left. This isnt working. But keep the "servers your friends are in" thing, thats cool. |
