Looks like this is the end for us, guys. No more role-play forum. Real genius move from the admins on that one, but I'm not too mad.
Probably not going to see any of you again. The only reason why I came back recently was because I like *this* sub-forum, not some other website. Bay12 isn't the same. Chooseyourstory isn't the same. Bannanachair sure as heck isn't the same, and neither is Role-Play Nation.
This site was special to me beyond belief. I really... well, I really liked it, and now it's going to go away.
I guess at this point I'm just numb. I knew this would happen, to be totally honest, as soon as I came back and saw the state of the forum. I knew the admins would see it, and figure it had died. Yet, I still chose to try and fix it. Looks like it didn't work.
I'll try to finish up Dark Days Ahead before the 27th. After that... I don't know.
I guess I'll see you guys on the flip side. A new chapter is beginning, so I guess I'll just have to live without the chaos for once. After all, the chaos is what makes role-playing fun, but it's also what makes it tedious.

I have tried other sites literally every time I've left the RPF. Most of the times I ended up trying the sites because everyone else left the RPF for them and I didn't want to be left behind.
*They aren't the same.*
Besides, what am I to do on another site? Face yet another crowd of people who insist writing is nothing more than a fun hobby, ignoring the artistic struggle that goes into creating great literature? People who view adverbs as enhancements, and fail to grasp the point of powerful synonyms? I already went through that with Bucky on chooseyourstory. Not going to go through that again.
No one will ever understand my passion for writing, but at least I've always been able to amass *fans* of my writing when I post it here. Never anywhere else. |

| Swedish, I'm really gonna miss you. The sad part about this update is that our community will soon become divided. Regardless of where we go, it'll never be the same as it is now. I predict that you leaving will lead to the conclusion of V n H. It's been an honor, and a pleasure to have role played with you. |

dude, you sound like one of those anime characters that gets the sparkly determination face when they talk about their passion and claims that no one understands but at least they have a fan club
Have you seriously not gathered any fans in other places, though? That's honestly pretty surprising. |
