Although not relating to the death of a loved one or 'entity', I'm sure 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by 'Queen' would do nicely. It's melancholic, reflective, mhm, music class has done me well for once.
I think the joyful parts and hard rock section clearly highlight our days of glory and when we've all had fun, and the rest just when things fall apart. Yup the lads.
