Here's a smarter way of removing bots, Though it is hypothetical:
accounts must require an email verification to sign up accounts must be 1 month old to message anyone accounts must have 1 hour of total playtime to communicate add captcha on sign up < THIS IS SO SIMPLE
With creds to Qyme-https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=221234435
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But honestly, it is not the bots, it's just an excuse, like how roblox removed tix and said it was too confusing. At the end of the day, all roblox wants to do is take control of it's users and to gain more money... |

"accounts must require an email verification to sign up" Email generation sites
"accounts must be 1 month old to message anyone" Bots will just wait
"accounts must have 1 hour of total playtime to communicate" Bots sit in a game for an hour
"add captcha on sign up < THIS IS SO SIMPLE" Captcha solving services

| I said hypothetically, and anyways most internet trolls don't like wasting time, instead they will go to some other website. But the bots are not the main problem, it's the roblox admins wanting to test the boundaries. |

These are more than internet trolls. These are people interested in making money by stealing accounts and information. They're willing to wait. Honestly, it seems more likely that Roblox is actually trying to combat the bots rather than "test the boundaries" of their control because as it is, they already have full control of the site and how we use it without any boundaries. |

| They do not have "full control". As you see here, after making a sorta major update, people are already protesting. This means they are not able to make massive updates because of this. But they can make those updates by making one small step at a time. And gradually get there. |

| User protests don't mean that Roblox does not have full control of the site and how we use it. All that protests indicate is that they cannot control how we respond to their exercise of their control of the site. They CAN do whatever they want. |

| Nope, imagine if they made all game costs rbx to join, or if they increased the price of robux by tenfold. People will just stop playing, and their company will die. |

That is still complete and total control over the site and how the users access it! They CAN do that! They have the power! There's a big difference between having complete control and exercising that control wisely. (It is possible to argue that making all games pay to play won't tank the site, but I'm not going to mess with that here.) You made the claim that Roblox is testing how far they can control the site, but in reality, you're arguing that they're testing the consequences of exercising control they already have. |

"No, the primary reason behind this change is first to stop first time devs from earning any revenue."
I'm sorry, what? Other than this part, I can agree to a couple more stuff, but most of this post is just... |

| New devs solely rely on their players. Most players who play small games are usually people who played for a long time and know the ropes, like using server list. Server lists are crucial to smaller games as they contain alot of empty servers. By removing the server lists, people will stop going to those games as they will be trapped in broken servers, thus the smaller devs will lose out. |

It's upsetting to see all these yes-men who suck up to Roblox and white knight them for every horrid update they put out. What, are we going to see people defending them when they decide to ban every user outside of the United States? Or perhaps when games as a whole get removed, even?
(P.S. Yes, I know those two things are ludicrous. That's the point.) |

| Violets are blue, and roses red. We should still love roblox, even though it's dead. |

Why not send a spy to find all the bot websites and then you will know the source of the problem... then you simply condemn the bots. Can also be done with exploits, but probably too many exploits to fix... although ROBLOX is too lazy to hire actual people who can do this stuff.
If ROBLOX does not put up a fight, then they are turning down their people and turning up the exploiters and bots. |
