next week,they will release an update to let you view the server list, which is optional, and can be changed in the settings, heres what they said in the devforums:
What about group games?
We are shipping an update next week (July 17-21) to give users with the canManageGroupGames permission to view the server list. We will also look into adding a separate permission that just allows users to view the server list. |

| I was panicking when I was not able to join different servers, I keep entering an empty server when I press play! I am so disappointed in Roblox. |

I roleplay whenever I get the chance, and sometimes, I'm not able to find a perfect server because certain roleplay games have a limited list of people who play the game.
Now let me show you a simple scenario where this update can be a major issue to certain people. Say someone might have certain standards when they find a person to RP with, they must be at least skilled and an expert at roleplay and understanding of the game's rules.
If it's a noob, or someone who doesn't even know the rules of perfect roleplaying etiquette. There's an issue, especially if the server you're in is full of these type of roleplayers who can't roleplay for crap.
So, after searching for someone and coming up with NO POSSIBLE CANDIDATE. Time to move onto the next server. But wait, what's this? "𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓶𝔂 𝓯𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓼 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓲𝓷."
Oh well, they just have to click the play button to join a random server that's picked by the roblox automated server system. They end up joining, but it's the same exact server they left. So they try again, and again, about 5 more times then they give up and go play something else.
Simply because, they can't even use the server list anymore, because it

Okay, Roblox really screwed up this time. I was trying..ahem, TRYING..to join a server on a rpg. (You know, some of those are filled with noobs..) And all it said was, "Servers your friends are in." Why did Roblox do this? Did they think that people would like it? I mean, it's called common sense. I mean, every game has it's flaws, but you took it WAY too far! God, now I qive up...

I agree completely. What is the point of this? Sure I can join my friends but usually my friends are in full servers and usually I join smaller servers. Now I can't even do that. What rubbish.

I feel the ROBLOX Admins aren't checking in on this even if over 100 players posted on a new forum which will easily grab anyone's attention. "Servers my friends are in," is a useless feature as of now. I am developing a roleplay game as the lead project owner and I feel if this update stays it will destroy mass server events.
There is no use for this because if you want to join a friend you can just search them up in that little bar called "Search for players,". And if you can't join said player so be it. This feature was outright unneeded in all sides of the spectrum and I hope the people working at ROBLOX will see this.

unfortunately for us, until they find another way to prevent the bot scanning sh they wont bring it back
couldnt they used some recaptcha stuff when we go to server list to check if we are human? |

Tbh, because roblox removed the hardcore censorship (you know that time when literately everything was tagged including usernames) I feel like they're goin to remove this update BUT there is the chance because roblox is roblox they won't really care and just continue doing The Next Level and creating new featured catalogue items. Hopefully they listen to the community.

Just today I joint work at a pizza place and then it directed me to the worst server ever! It was full of completely guests! And the only actual players were me and my friend who was in the server at the time which it directed me too. And everyone knows this but I'm gonna say it again, GUESTS R MY ARCH-NEMESIS'!!! So I was not impressed by the server I was in... I tried rejoining a different server but it redirected me to the stupid "guests only" server! ROBLOX change this before we all regret it! It's probably too late anyway though... just change it! Plz!
If u agree just say so I'm rlly annoyed by this!

| If Roblox would of added the option at the servers, it would be all dandy, but no! They have to remove people seeing the servers, all to prevent bots in which will continue to find loopholes. |
