| Nay, A Mayor and Deputy Mayor are elected together as mates. The people are well aware that if the Mayor chooses to resign that the DM will be the new Mayor. This is you trying to control instead of listening to the PEOPLES VOICE! |

The following edit is made in accordance with a suggestion from Councilman Frivolous:
§ 24-4 (1) is replaced with:
"(1) If the mayor chooses to resign, the city council must give advice and consent on whether the deputy mayor should replace him. However, if the deputy mayor is an original deputy mayor, meaning he was elected in as Deputy Mayor when the mayor was elected, this does not need to happen. If the city council denies, then the city council will have a vote on who will replace the outgoing mayor. The candidates for this vote is not limited to city council members."
Please revote. |

| Still Nay, seeing as the Mayor can appoint a new Deputy Mayor, seeing as it is one of his rights and duties. So no, stop trying to control things that you shouldn't have anything to do with. Focus ON THE CITY that you are supporting to be focusing on. |

| This is just a grasp for power by the LVCC, and thus, it should not be passed, Nay. |
