There is literally No basis for not supporting.
There is zero downside. Just don't use it if you want friend requests.

| Support they might add this because its a safety issue for young kids and roblox goes crazy about keeping their little ########## safe" or just for people who are getting annoyed by people and dont want anymore friend requests or so we cant get any from those bots.
