| I'm trying to make NPCs that can be customized in any way the player wants. But I only want the player creating it to be able to see it. That means that this NPC is being changed using a local script. I've tested it and the shirt and pants as well as the body colors change all perfectly, and is only seen locally. Server side sees no changes. However; when I add an accoutrement, it does not show up. On the local workspace, where I put the npc into the current cam, you can see that the accoutrement I added IS on the character, however it's not on the characters head. What am I doing wrong? Do hats not attach properly using a local script orrr???? |

| If this is any help, I also noticed that the hat is falling. I went to the handle of the hat and saw that the part's y-position was decreasing more and more but it is there. Any ideas??? |

Honestly wish I could help, but I really don't know. I haven't dabbled much into local parts yet. ;~;
Best of luck though! |

| Can't really help without out seeing the script mate, but here is a script I did for an old character creation system. ############################### NOTE! This is not the full script, its only part to stop noobs from copying. Hopefully this helps in some way. |

@Mokuteki
Here's what I have in my script:
pastebin N2AwCYpa
I'm not sure why it's not working. Also, I checked in the workspace and the accessory is as a matter of fact in the character, but for some reason it's falling. I kept checking the position and everytime I looked back the y-val for the position was decreasing. Might it be a welding problem or something like that? |
