But if you try to get custom games/apps on your consoles with "hacking", They can brick your console. With PC you can easily just click a button and boom. new application.
Also, PC is easier to code with, And stuff like the Steam Workshop expand upon games with new maps and the like.
And some consoles require you to change your game so it can be sold. Like there was this one guitar game where instead of dying in a cutscene, You got flung to in island or something. That was weird. |

the problem with easier to access is that there can be an output of low quality works

PC is better because 1) more powerful hardware allows game developers to go mental with their games more than consoles. 2) most customization allows for a completely customization rig. 3) the no players problem could be fixed if you got some real life friends.
I've got 14" main batterys, 6" secondarys, and 11" thick armor. |

| First, I Have Both. PC is much more fun. The reason nobody plays COD on pc is because its not a fun game and PC has better FPS games like Counter Strike,Also better games all in all like Rainbow Six Siege |

I have to agree with logan.
CoD is not a big highlight when there are superior shooters like CS GO, OverWatch, Battlefield 1 etc |

Tbh pc is simply better in every way. Can you upgrade a console? You can but it will void your warranty. Can you customize a console? It is very limited. Is multiplayer free? On PS's it is but XBOX it isn't. Is there a large game selection? PC has the whole internet while consoles have a shelf to choose from.

Depends on opinion, but it is definitely better than CoD unless WWII lives up to the hype it has been getting. |

In terms of COD 4 - BOII I've found COD to offer more enjoyment
CSGO just feels lacking in features |

imo COD is a way better made shooter, CSGO is less of a "shooter" and more about just being quick to click on people.
also CSGO gets boring kinda quickly with it literelly being one goal for up to 30 rounds a match |

Just because hardware is old doesn't meant it is obsolete. A good bang for buck build can last you a couple of years and it's only the GPU that needs to be upgraded at most. |

@tris
Since you say 2012, I will just take GeForce 600 series as a representation of it and use GTX 660 as an example.
I have a GTX 750 Ti which is one generation ahead. In 2017, it still holds out surprisingly OK at low or medium 1080p depending on which game you play. For 2016 or before, those games will probably run at high or something.
GTX 660 is equivalent to a GTX 750 Ti, so both still hold out. GTX 660 is often the minimum requirement for many games I have seen so yes 2012 GPUs can still work except for the lowest line. I don't know about AMD's lineup though.
