*until clans can adapt to the new roblox environment and make everything fun for the 11-year old john doe who found roblox
roverse is a genius idea, albeit extremely ambitious, but pretty much sums it up in one amazing concept: create a top-of-the-line game that incorporates clans and can work for both CLANNERS and kids who play ROBLOX
tons of players would love clans, i'm sure, if they just got a taste of that clan experience through a medium that really works on a general level
tl;dr: clans need to incorporate games in order to appeal to a larger playerbase and regain popularity
just my opinion!

@starwars dude
i mean...explain how star wars clans maintain activity
they center on a few central ideas 1) game environment - fun with replay value for being at the forst 2) popular lore - everyone knows star wars 3) welcoming atmosphere - when people join a clan and start using weird brick guns (rcl) and boring swords they aren't exactly gonna be hype

Incorporating roleplay in the form of a centralized city/game is the first step that clans need to take to adapt to ROBLOX's changing environment.
Edeltia did it, A-SOV is in the process of doing it, and Avari will do it.

y role play works because you start appealing to the players on the site that are receptive to that type of environment. when clans incorporate role-playing (like they used to when clans were actually good)...clans were actually good.
people miss that that element really made ROBLOX clans unique and fun imo. |

RoVerse is not going to solve the dilemma that is clans because it is, for the most part, exclusive to factions willing to operate solely on the gameplay.
It might help bring in people, but it is not a solution.

| i think the idea of roverse is where its true value is, honestly. the idea is the only thing that will renew the clan world. |

changing how the clan world relates to the primary playerbase.
rcl isn't gonna bring people to clans. the only thing that is gonna bring more people to clans is immersion and a unique experience. by making clans more entertaining in the mainstream way, i.e. wij fort indigo or edeltia you really help to bring more people in.

I agree. But you can't depend on RoVerse alone. This mentality has to be accepted on a grand scale, and RoVerse, sorry to say, won't be the answer. It'll help, absolutely, but it alone is not enough.
I see what you're saying, though.
