| I need to know how to make a tool unequippable for an attack animation so it doesn't get all messed up. |

Why not just make it so that the animation stops if the player unequips?

One hacky way to do this is to set the tool's ManualActivationOnly property to 'true'. When that property is set, the tool can only be equipped by explicitly invoking the "Activate" method. And so, by proxy, your tool will be unequippable.
Example:
someTool.ManualActivationOnly = true |

| Sorry Im an idiot. I meant Not unequippable, so like someone can't unequip the tool while it's being used. |

| Same thing then, but toggle the property when the tool is activated. |
