I've aspired to become a villain many times before - Because in every story, the good guy wins. The villain has to have a reason behind their actions, and if not then why are they villains?
As your villainous "overlord" or whatever a libertarian anti-populist president-for-life calls himself, I would enact significant change and offer a lot more than just some faction of nationalism and mandatory conscription in order to obtain power.
As the villain with a vision, I would be much more than the imperialists and their stratocratic imperialism. It is not military force that determines who is successful - It is rather the military force of the sympathizers.
Mankind is not "good" nor "evil". As morality is only relative, it is the individual and the society to judge whether or not one is justified.
And maybe you see me as a hero without boundaries. But I am, to myself, a villain with irreconcilable greed. A very fashionable villain, hopefully. |

...
I guess I'll just retreat to my sorrow. Apparently hope is considered foolish. |
