in studio if you put a normal script in starterplayer > startercharacterscripts
everything in there pops directly in the character every time they spawn, so you could just do:
local character = script.Parent local humanoid = character.Humanoid
humanoid.WalkSpeed = 100 |

if you put it in workspace, or serverscriptservice, you can use the code you said
however if you want simpler code
then you can put my code in a script in startercharacterscripts, and it will insert it directly into every character |

| Don't put scripts in Workspace. Put them in ServerScriptService |

| If OP does end up using StarterHumanoid, they should note that they have to make a few changes to it every time it's inserted into a Character, if the game allows R15. Specifically HipHeight and RigType. |
