Hi there. This is my first real RP (after 2 immature attempts). There may be many faults within the RP, so please help me fix them if you can. Not everything about the RP is revealed in the Introductory pages, so please take note of that. This RP isn’t as it seems, but I would classify it as a Powers/Sci-Fi RP. Anyways, enjoy.
“What has been unleashed?” -Survivor of the Crepitus Event

•Backstory
2530 AD 30 years of absolute chaos followed the Crepitus Event. Entire planets, charred, wasted, barren. Almost 1/3rd of the population died when the star Crux burst out its massive flames. No one made it out unscathed. No one could forget that day.
2570 AD. The first reports of Silentians appeared. These mutated humans possessed strange powers that were beyond any normal human limits. It is still not known how they came to be, but it is hypothesized that it was the result of Crux’s flares. Unsure of how to deal with them, the Union Sector pushed a law that forced these Silentians to register and report weekly to an administrative decision. Protests erupted regarding discrimination, but were quickly dealt with
2620 AD Alarms went off in nearly all the planets. The Defence Fleet was called. The Army was mobilized. Military intelligence was unable to confirm the identity of the threat.
The sudden strike rendered defence efforts useless. The Defence Fleet was left confused. The Army was scattered too thin. The targets were uncertain. Disastrous attempts to evacuate many of the planets only resulted in even more casualties. Transports desperately trying to leave, only to be shot down by a confused Navy fighter. Star-liners overcrowded with refugees. It was pure chaos.
The following years were marked with dread. The Founding-Systems (the inner areas of the Union Sector) closed their borders. No longer was it possible to travel from system to system. Everyone began to turn their backs to each other. They left their fates to their own hands.
The enemies were dubbed Ghouls. No one knew where they came from. No one knew their motives. They were completely incomprehensible. And they knew everything about us.

•Important Terms
Silentians: An umbrella term for the mutant humans discovered after the Crepitus Event. Exactly how they gained their powers are a mystery, but a massive amount of Silentium within seems to have something to do with it. At first, they were forcibly registered and held in detention camps, but their use as soldiers proved invaluable in the Terminus-War.
Silentium: A mysterious form of matter and energy discovered soon after the Crepitus Event. Only found in certain people, collectively called the Silentians. Theorized to have somehow been formed from the Crepitus Event.
Crepitus Event: A massive stellar flare that had nearly 1/3rd of the human population in the Union Sector
Body Balance (BB) Levels: The various levels of silentium emitted during combat. Must be kept to a ratio of 90:10 or else results in total loss of control and sanity.
Terminus-War: The war for survival that continues to wage on between the Union Sector and the Ghouls
•CREATURES
Ghouls: No one knew where they came from. Sporting jet black skin and white, featureless eyes, these humanoids struck fear into their prey. Starting from the Outer Colonies, the Ghouls slowly advanced into the domains of the Union Sector. Once the infestation became noticeable, it led to a downward spiral of desperate firefights and battles. Their unique Inversion-Field was capable of unreal levels of regeneration among the Ghouls, effectively making them unkillable. With the fall of the capital, New Krona, all seems lost for humanity.
Subtypes: Morts (Comestores mortuis): The most common Ghoul. Has the basic traits of the Ghouls with no unique traits. Attacks consist mostly of swarm tactics, biting, and slashing. Attacks are usually enhanced with some kind of energy, presumably from the Inversion-Field.
Vis (Vis plenae): Ghouls with energy-based attacks. Has an additional pair of arms (a total of 2 pairs) with arced bone structures spiking out of the spine. Provides long-ranged support for the standard Ghouls, but will also attack up close
Fury (Furibundus implevit): The heavy attack Ghoul. Has red veins all over the jet-black skin. Possesses a bony mask that resembles a twisted cracked smiley-face. Much more muscular than the standard Ghoul and Vis. Emits a spine-chilling cry before charging with maximum force.
Patriarchs: Glowing beings made of pure energy. Unusually powerful and can seem to defy physics in every way. Is a humanoid, with visible eyes, but otherwise no specific details. Their colorations seem to differ every time, indicating that there are multiple Patriarchs. Their relations to Ghouls are unknown, as sometimes they are seen leading the Ghouls, but other times appearing alone and creating destruction. SC operatives are advised to avoid combat, as most have succumbed to BB overdose.
Rogues: The original 10 Silentians issued with the ARMSYS 1.0 prototypes. Although their combat record was stunning against the Ghouls, there was a fatal flaw within the first armor suits: they did not contain a BB Level container. When combat stresses took its toll on the Silentians, their BB Levels became too high. Their inner Silentium completely consumed their minds and they now only feed on rage. No longer human, the Union Sector more or less considers them Ghouls.
•FACTIONS
The Union Sector: Officially named the United Federation of the Crux Sector, this federation was founded in the year 2500 by the first interstellar colonists. As the years went by, a stable government began to form in the fashion of a democratic society. The Crepitus Event of 2560 was the first real test of the newly formed federation when almost a third of the human population at the time was wiped out. It was a massive disaster, with many turning to banditry and anarchy during the hard times. Order was only restored almost 30 years after the event, and with lingering effects still felt. Then the Ghoul attacks began. Faced with a relentless foe, the Union Sector befuddled its early attempts to quarantine the Ghoul infestation. Now pushed back to the backwater planet of Spera, the Union Sector knows that the end is near.
Silentian Corps (SC): The main backbone of the military effort against the Ghouls. Known for being solely comprised of Silentians. The only major force that could inflict any damage against the Ghouls. Although originally made up of volunteers, the SC are now entirely made up of draftees. Their training is handled by veterans of an older group, STRIKER. Well trained in close quarters combat, marksmanship, and utilization of the ARMSYS suits, the SC represent the pinnacle of military efficiency. However, even with the Sync ability, which allows Silentians to directly damage the Ghouls, the SC are outnumbered and overpowered. Soon, even the SC won’t be enough to stop the Ghouls.
AERIS Division: A highly secretive group of individuals that pull the strings behind the Union. Employs their own section of the Armed Forces. Comprised of the richest individuals in the Union, their exact motives are unclear. Publicly, they are known as the Anastasis Corporation.
Underdogs : A loose coalition of former STRIKER personnel, SC troops, and even Silentians that avoided the draft, the Rogues are opposed to the restriction of freedoms that the current military dictatorship has imposed. They demand that the Union return to its democratic roots, and are willing to wage a war for it. However, their organization is in tatters after an ambush of its leaders by the Union, and are now effectively gone.
•Equipment (All RPers will be part of the SC at the start):
Standard gear for the SC:
Type-97 HoloRifle (holographic rounds): A standard assault rifle handed to most recruits and regular infantry. Hold 30 rounds and has decent penetration. Not ideal for engagement of Ghouls before Sync.
Type-58 HoloPistol: A backup weapon for most specialists without standard firearms. Issued specifically to specialists that do not require a primary weapon for combat. Holds 12 rounds.,
Disintegration Grenade MK2: Standard grenade for all SC troops. Had a blast radius of 12 meters, with 2 meters being lethal.
Harmonics Grenade: A sensor-grenade that calculates the I-Field wavelengths of Ghouls. Used to initiate Sync before full combat.
P-ARMSYS: A prototype rapid deployment ARMSYS suit that incorporates intelligent liquid metals. However, they were deemed too fragile for regular combat use. Now used for an emergency ARMSYS suit for situations where a regular ARMSYS suit is not available. Stored in a grenade format.
• ARMSYS A revolutionary armor suit that was specifically designed for the SC. Silentians on their own are not extremely powerful, so there was a need for a power-enhancing armor, the ARMSYS. Provides protection for enemy attacks and will enhance the individual Silentian powers that each SC operative possess. Has an AI for interacting with suit elements, and acts as an assistant in combat.
Alpha: Speed oriented armor design. Streamlined and light, it can enable the user to outrun Ghouls. Good for sudden strikes, but it is inherently weak and cannot sustain much damage. Issued to spec-ops.
Beta: A balanced offering of speed and strength, it is the most versatile suit for missions. While the armor provides a moderation of speed and strength, it isn’t so useful for the more, specialized missions. Issued to most standard S-Corps operatives.
Gamma: The heavy-duty version of the armor, Gamma provides the most protection and strength out of the 3 systems. Able to take on an incredible amount of damage before it fails, Gamma is used to support ground troops and provide a distraction to ensure that the others are able to do their missions. Speed however is very poor, and most Gamma users must rely on their armor to survive missions.
Wrist Slingers: A portable grappling hook situated on the ARMSYS arms. Can be used for rapid transport or to pull in enemies for a quick kill.
Thruster Packs: A short term rocket boost in any direction. Used for evading enemy attacks or rapid movement
Custom Modules: Anything you feel like your character will need throughout the RP. For example, if your powers require a specific sword or item, you are free to name them here. Please write a short description of its use and where it is located on your ARMSYS suit.
E-Shield The primary defence for ARMSYS. Consists of a Silentium powered energy shield. Primarily hexagonal in shape. Its strength is dependent on how much Silentium the user can produce. Placed on the left or right arm and is used just like a traditional shield.
S-node A diamond shaped device on the ARMSYS helmets. Channels the Silentium energy within the ARMSYS user and enhances their natural talents. Once the S-node is damaged, ARMSYS cannot function. Commonly located between on the forehead of the helmet, though variations exist.
•Rules
1)This is an ISRP. Feel free to add to the overall story as much as you want. However, please refrain from going overboard with story-modifications. In short, no godmodding.
2)Please note that all characters will start as an SC specialist. As the story goes along, feel free to leave the organization as you see fit, but do not start out as a Rogue or lone-wolf.
3)If there are any personal complaints about a player’s actions/interactions, please PM me, so that I can deal with it. If you spot a glaring flaw within the overall story, please feel free to PM me about it.
4)Please be respectful to all the players in this RP. We want to have fun, not argue.
5)When you submit your CS, please wait for me to respond on the thread. I will either accept the CS or suggest some alterations before accepting. Please do not romance within the RP. We do not want to be mistaken for ODers.

Name: Evan K. Roan
Age: 21
Appearance: A young man of 21. Has brown hair and brown eyes. Not very tall, at only 5ft 7. Mostly found alone, leaning on the walls in the darkness. Can be easily provoked. (detailed, so about 3 sentences)
Ability: Photonic Manipulation -Uses photons for main combat. 1) Photon Shards: photonic projectiles that explode on contact. 2) Short Photon Blasts: Photonic energy blasts that deal quite a punch. 3) Charged Beam: After a short charge, a ray of photons are fired to deal a massive damage.
ARMSYS Variant: Beta
ARMSYS Appearance: A sharp V-shaped visor, along with sharp edges on the armor. Convered in stripes of blue, and has multiple battle scars on the surface. There is a carving on the right arm, counting the number of squad mates Evan has lost.
ARMSYS AI Name: Serenity
Custom Modules: Photon Blade -An emitter for a short blade composed entirely of photons. Can cut through most substances, but can be countered with heavy metals.
Bio: Evan was born 5 years before the first Ghoul attacks. There was little he could do to prevent his mother's death during the attack at New Krona. That day, Evan realised his Silentian powers, and was drafted into the SC at the age of 13. After long years of training, Evan was deployed on the front lines, where he eagerly awaited to avenge his mother. However, the war continued to drag on and on, and many of his friends were killed off by the Ghouls. Evan now is a hardened veteran, and his will to avenge has been replaced by apathy and guilt.
Other/Extra: Weak to extremely dark areas. Has had a memory gap during his training years, at the age of 18. Is mostly anti-social, focusing only at the mission. |

He can make a fire wall, a fire meteor, and a fire laser. Weaknesses: Lloyd isn't very tanky, and scouts alone. The planet below. It seemed unreal. There it was, charred and deserted. Wildfires spread all over the ruined landscape.
"That is the mission area. Get prepped in the drop room." "Ah... yes sir."
I turned around, peering into my locker. A standard ID tag, with a picture leaning on my glasses.
Mother.
No point in going over that again. Just focus on the mission today, I told myself. I gathered the essentials, and headed over to the drop room.
The USC Remington II. An old cruiser created shortly after the Crepitus Event. This old girl was still chugging along space, surviving so many Ghoul ambushes over the years. It's amazing that we have even made it this far in the Terminus-War.
The drop room was where all Silentian Corps operatives prepared for missions. Today was no exception, and I saw familiar faces all across the room. I quickly scanned for my personal ARMSYS fitting station, and promptly began to don the suit. |

CS (Tell me if too op 5 u) Cartosphelin UNKNWN A transparentish black, a rugged hood covering most of the face. Eyes are VERY bright white, so whenever you look at him, all of his other features remain jet black. Controlling time/vortexes. Most used attacks: Mirroring Vortex. (Cartosphelin opens a portal, absorbing the attack into the deep regions of space. Before the other attack dissipates, another portal opens, leading the attack behind the caster.) Reverse Time: Cartosphelin stops time and rewinds it, to prepare himself for a powerful attack. Instant Movement: Cartosphelin stops time itself, and he looks the appearence of a full human. He is able to use as many of his attacks as he pleases within this time limit of 15 seconds [real time] Weaknesses: Wind. Since Wind can travel extremely fast, and Cartosphelin's reaction time isn't the greatest, the wind would have already hit him before he could open a portal or stop time. Weaknesses:Fire. Fire can be both a weakness and a strength to Cartosphelin. His bright eyes and the light of the fire would likely blind any attacker, but Fire can burn up his portals, and makes him unable to stop time for an unknown reason. ARMSYS Variant: Alpha ARMSYS Appearance: Reflective, so Cartosphelin's bright eyes can emit light even from behind him. The main color is bright white. The other is a bright teal. ARMSYS AI Name: Eclipse Custom Modules: Time Crystals. [2 spinning 'diamond' 3d object shapes that revolve on his shoulderblade areas. They power his connection between time and space. If one were broken, depending on which, Cartosphelin wouldn't be able to stop time or open portals. If both are broken, he dies, although they are HEAVILY protected by the blinding light emitted from them. Bio: Cartosphelin is a Patriarch, born directly after the Crepitus Event. Those who have battle with him say that he created the Stellar Flare, although this is a lie. Others say he was born DIRECTLY after the Crepitus Event. These rumors are all lies. He was born years after the Crepitus Event, although his age is still unknown.

| Superb CS, although there are some flaws. As I've stated, you must start as a SC operative. Patriarchs are a boss-level NPC, so you can't be that. And your powers, they have a potential to be overpowered, with Time-based abilities. Could you rework your CS to nerf your powers a bit, and to label each CS attribute, so I could read it better. |
