Hello there computer enthusiasts. I'm here to ask what specs you guys have, and a guide to show you how to get (most) of the specs your PC runs on.
Before we get started, lots of numbers are involved when it comes to mentioning specs... ROBLOX does not like numbers. Therefore, the PREVIEW button is super handy. Please make use of it to correct any censored data. Also, to quickly check for hashes, CTRL+F and type in "#" ;-)
[Rules]: - Give fair criticism & potential upgrades for other enthusiasts - Don't be the guy that says "mine is better than yours" - Be honest
[Guide]: Use DirectX Diagnostics to find your RAM amount, processor, graphics card, motherboard model (under the name "SYSTEM MODEL"), operating system, and BIOS version. To intiate DxDiag, hit "WIN + R" to open the run menu, then type in "DxDiag".
[Personal Rig] * Windows 8 (don't ask why I didn't upgrade) * MSI MS-7693 * NVidia GTX-960 (the smaller, more compact one) * AMD FX-6300, 6 cores, clocks at ~3.5GHz. * 12GB of RAM, 1X8GB stick & 2X4GB sticks. Speeds are like 1600 I think. * Ethernet * Powerline Adapter ... fastest way to go! * BIOS v22.2 * DirectX 11 * [Internet Speeds Below] Download Speed: 64mbps Upload Speed: 23mbps Ping 12ms (many thanks to the adapter mentioned earlier) * Keyboard/Mouse set by CMSTORM, green backlit. $20 * 1 monitor, 4K capable, can't remember the size. at least 20 inches. * A professional looking microphone from AOKEO.
[Preferred Format]: * Operating System (Win7, Linux, etc) * Motherboard * GPU (Graphics Card) * CPU (Processing Unit) * RAM amount (type optional) * Ethernet or Wireless? * If Ethernet, how do you connect to your modem? [Optional]: * BIOS version * DirectX version (hopefully 11?? lol) * Internet Speed (DL/UL & ping, use Speedtest by Ookla) * Peripherals * Monitors ...or anything outside of the PC.
[A few personal questions I'm curious about]: Do you know how to port forward? Do you know the credentials for your router? Do you know the difference between IPv4/v6? What's your experience with MS-DOS?
Also, sorry if this sounds like a "recruitment" message for a gray-hat organization *cough*.. It's not, I'm just honestly wondering how much you guys know about PC's. That's all, promise.

lol I know I know, my PC isn't that good. (costed about $1000 in total 2 years ago though - -) Most people who actually want a good PC go for a GTX1060 or something, at least..

clearly not, your response time was hindered by your slow processor unable to keep up with Google Chrome on its own.

preview helps ;__;
but yeah, not bad. Although you did get ripped off because Alienware marks up their computers way past their real price. Still, their PCs are quality. nice build :b

TheJayZeroFive, No duh. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It is often used though, next to Mozilla Firefox & .. uh, Tor.. I took the educated guess as to say that she was using Chrome.

A dual SLI setup, Killer? And a Titan at that... not shabby ~ easily a few thousand dollars into just that alone.
i7 3300K is a little outdated but still top of the line.
32 gigs, more than you'll ever need, might as well go for 64 lol
and a tri-monitor setup. super nice B))
I'm gonna come over there and steal your rig :L
