I would've never thought that I'd choose MacOS over it.
Doesn't mean that I'd USE IT. On my dual boot laptop I can switch between Debian Linux and Windows 7.
I mainly use Debian. |

Windows 10 probably isn't that bad
by the time I switch to it they'll have fixed any issues with it |

Haven't you seen what they have done with Windows 10S?! This is what Microsoft wants. They've proven that.
They want a restrictive operating system in which Microsoft has complete control over.
I'm not gonna get into an argument whether certain operating systems are better, but this IS the future of Microsoft's operating system. |

well it's their product, they can do whatever they want with it as long as you agree to the EULA |

@Cat So you want your operating system controlled for you? You want to get stripped down versions of windows in which you have to pay extra money to get all of its features?? |

Just another step in modern technology to restrict or hinder the user experience and exercise unnecessary control in an act of paranoia.
Microsoft's not the only one doing this though. |

I'm not saying I want it
I'm just saying there really isn't anything stopping them
people will have to switch to Windows 10 eventually |

@Cat No, there are other choices. There has been a remarkable surge in Linux's popularity. It now has 2% market share, only a bit behind MacOS.
And Cat, I understand that you like gaming. And all I'm saying is that Linux is getting a TON of great titles! It's as easy to install them as it is on Windows. |

"people will have to switch to Windows 10 eventually" Still can run on Mac/Linux/Android/iOS, even if a lot of games/programs/apps are written for Windows. |

a 2% market share, and the PC gaming community already represents the smallest community in gaming (roughly 26%) |

"unless they want to be like the kind of people who still use Windows XP"
windows 7 has been around since '09 and has had two more operating systems released since then. given that information, a lot of people will still agree it's the superior os |
