Warning: If you are a conservative, who opposes change and prefers to keep things the way they are, you will not enjoy reading this forum. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
As the recent seasons have progressed in the OFL, the competition has continued to decline rapidly (with 20 teams). Let's face the truth: what league is enjoyable when you have 5-6 blowouts every week (with instances of admin abusing)?! Moreover, 2 teams have already folded over, and it looks like plenty of more will throughout the course of this lukewarm season. There is just simply not enough charismatic/patient coaches & players to boost the morale of all 20 teams. Hence, the league would need to remove unnecessary expansion teams as a start to bringing back the OFL that was more competitive and exciting. There are also other options this league could opt to take.
Option 1: Enforce an all-star rule - Creating an all-star rule would eliminate the numerous super teams we see every season. The Award Committee would discuss with each other and come up with a list of all-stars. Pros: No super teams, less blowouts, a chance to develop rookies/unknown players Cons: Stubborn players who only want to play on one team
Option 2: Host a fantasy draft (3-4 rounds) - Players who are not drafted will immediately become free agents afterwards. Pros: Spreading out the talent to each team, first time the OFL hosts a fantasy draft Cons: Stubborn players who do not want to play for the team they got drafted by, taking too long to get teams assembled, less chances for rookies/unknown players to shine

option one is like a salary cap, I like it... and option 2 is like madden, I also like it. But I am pro development of rookies, so the first option is best for me... but best for the league to manage? the fantasy draft.

the "superteams" such as the raptors and spartans are the ones that actually attempt to develop rookies and unknown players.
An all-star rule doesnt guarantee less blowouts

| how can you be a all star when all the buttons are pressing "w" "e" "q" "a" "s" "d" and space bar? How about you just get better at the game then let others get better then you. Theres no such thing as a "all star", its just people who can press buttons faster and better then others. |

| thats why i dont understand this "all star" crap. if you want to be good, then go get good...? We shouldn't be punishing players who are good LOL. |
