"Achievements only serve purpose for bragging rights. There is literally no point of having them. Same with those people who spend a lot of money on Steam trading cards to get a higher Steam level." that last part hurt me on a deep deep level

The need for console-based achievements are minimal. Many games with multiple players can or cannot add achievements for their games if they want to or not.

The problem with brute force (Raw power in this case) is that only the strongest win.
Nowadays, consoles have special features that distinguish them from the strongest in brute force: PCs.
Switch can be undocked and be made portable. You don't have to be an Arabic oil overlord whatever who can buy a TV and sync cable to play console-grade games on the toilet, you just need to undock your switch, which isn't that hard. Maybe not toilets to play on? Go outside and throw the TV idea in the trash.
Xbox is almost a system of servers that connects to computers, and the Xbox consoles are the main users. Every modern Windows PC references Xbox somewhere.
PlayStation?. . . . It's just a box with many transistors smaller than ### viruses. Anything else? Maybe controllers, some games, but that's it. The PS4 as of now is an outdated concept.

I've never heard they were plagued with any bugs...
Of course there were loading times since the quality was better most of the time than cartridges. You got stuff on the disk games like better audio than cartridge games

You're not entirely correct; Nintendo downloads the game onto the system and plays it too for Wii U. There's a reason BotW takes up a lot of space. I'm not sure about cartridges but they have updates and downloadable content. The difference in laoding times isn't that noticeable ans PS4 could be slightly slower since it has things like better graphics, resolution, and effects in games

No no no. The Switch is a TABLET with many transistors smaller than actual viruses. It also has a battery and MULTIPURPOSE controllers.
Plus, the Switch is selling well, while PS4 sales are starting to slow down. |

| Yeah, give me sources and numbers please. I don't trust Wikipedia for important data. Most sources show the Switch is starting to outsell the PS4, and the switch still has good first party titles. |

| And lets not forget that the Switch's demand Nintendo's expectations and even they're having trouble keeping up. Nintendo expected to produce barely a million of them. That's how good the Switch is. . . not to mention that it only has a $50 markup, unlike PS4 |

Starting to isn't the same as outselling. Obviously Switch outsold PS4 when it released but that's drastically decreased and put the Switch behind the PS4 in sales for the last few weeks.

While it may be my opinion, I totally agree with you. As Nintendo has stated, they could care less about the graphics of their games. Their aim in their games is to bring a good story line to the player and have an effect on the people playing. Look at the Legend of Zelda for instance. The story, in my opinion, is fantastic! They are constantly bringing in new characters for the players to play with and learn more about. In games like Legend of Zelda, they are constantly trying to promote creativity in all their actions. For me, I can't say a whole lot on Playstation's part, as I only own a Playstation 1 and 2, whereas I have an SNES, N64, Switch etc.

First of all, why would I wanna ruin my recipient's Christmas by buying them a PS4?
No, we're not blind, we see that the Switch is the superior game console. The question is are YOU blind?
Playstation's fourth iteration is already out. Nintendo is still alive.
No, the Switch isn't a copy of PS Vita. It would be scuicidal to copy a failing system, for one. The switch can detach it's side controllers, which are more rectangular than rounded to allow a player to grip it like the Wii remote/PS move (The latter ripped off the former).
I could theoretically do the same with PS vita, but I would need a chainsaw, and a couple gyroscopes, a knife to replace the buttons to resemble the switch, and. . . Nah, it's already a hard boring construction project.
PS4 could only be lit if I set it on fire. Sadly, a family of cockroaches who used the PS4 as it's home would become homeless or corpses. PETA would not approve.

Nintendo is terrible when it comes to fan games.
Both companies do the unethical practice of bricking consoles, But at least Sony isn't bad enough to hate their own fans and destroy their work.
They took down so many fan games that it's hard for me to support them. |
