It's fine to buy them once in a while if it's a game you enjoy but I only buy Steam trading cards with money made from selling other trading cards. It's bad when you have people only buying certain games just because they have trading cards, same with Sony and Microsoft consoles. There are people buying games with easy trophies just to have a platinum. You should buy a game because you want to or want to have fun, not for some virtual achievement

I question your sanity mr generic hero. Nintendo has created many IPs, but exactly like the competition, many simply goes under. Ill give you all the new IPs each console generation (Nintendo)

These are a lot of IPs, and They're all inventive.
Splatoon doesn't use bloody, gun, mafia, you know what I'm talking about violence, and its still infinitely (Fine, I'm exaggerating a bit, but still much much) more fun than competition, which are just first person shooters.
ARMS mixes shooters with beatemups.
Legend of Zelda and Metroid pioneered open worlds
Smash is a fighting game except you don't murder people, yet you can still use tanks, guns, and monsters to fight with.
I fail to see any notably creative IPs Sony or Microsoft made, and minecraft/roblox do not count

Wait Sony has IPs? That they themselves made? Cool! tell me! But don't include fan-grade ripoffs like Modnation ok? And I know LittleBig planet, maybe ratchet and clank, but they aren't as popular or even as good as their Nintendo counterparts. (Ive played them back when the PS3 was better than the Wii. Yes. that actually happened.)
Also note that it cant be all first person shooters (save for the stated ones) and I'm sick and tired of the spammed IPs of people murdering each other ok?

And I remembered all the games I put from memory. I didn't have to spend all last night looking on Wikipedia. And chances are, none of them seem interesting anyway.
Nintendo has all the classics, and the classics are actually good games.

Actually, Donkey kong was made by Nintendo, but don't worry, the originals are quite elusive. Nobody uses arcade machines (primarily at least) anymore. Rare came along and helped out with Donkey Kong Country.
StarFox was made by Nintendo. They just got help.
And note that most of the Nintendo games were huge in the 90s, and hold up well today. Heck, Super Metroid has better graphics than many games on the PS4. Sure its not 4K, but that's just a label. Only losers base everything on labels :)
PS Nintendo Games dominated E3 2017. Most people agree that Nintendo won E3 just by showing Metroid Prime 4. That's how good Metroid games are. |

First of all, I understand your opinion, but there are many errors in your reasoning.
If I ignore the lack of commas making many stated games with multiple words are confusing, Rocket league and Minecraft are on the Switch, with both having cross-play between PC, Xbox, and Switch (and mobile for minecraft), With Sony opting out of cross-play for a reason that most gamers are confused about (Protecting kids? That sounds like a Nintendo move, but they went into it.), and Nintendo games are not that bad unless you hate them. Also, Legend of Zelda is about a knight being revived and protecting a post apocalyptic world from doom. Some other Nintendo games are a bit questionable but people play it because its fun. Plus, Metroid is just like Halo, except that it came first and i'd like you to come up with a better idea for a death scene for prime that stays within the Teen rating (at most). Oh none? Ok. (Really though, Echoes and corruption are legit) |
