| Hello everybody, I always wanted to learn how to script. But when ever I go on youtube. I barely understand a thing, I wish their was a tutor that can help me for free on discord kinda like giving back to the community. I have asked plenty of master scripts and the response is the same "Sorry, Im busy". So now Im on my knees and begging anyone to mentor/tutor me on Lua Scripting. Please reply with discord id or some ####### ##### |

| a good way to learn is to study free models, watch videos, look at the wiki, ask around. You don't need a master scripter to learn. many adepts will be willing to teach you tips and tricks. |

I feel your pain.... I learned what I know completely alone with youtube and roblox wiki. No one I know scripts or really ever shared the same interest in learning as me. I am not a fantastic scripter by any stretch, and Lua is the only language I'm really fluent in, but I'd be happy to help you get through the basics. I am legitimately pretty busy/don't always feel like talking, so I can't always guarantee I'll be there, but here is my discord anyway and you can feel free to ask me questions whenever. bigboy77584#0326

The Roblox Wiki Cookbook is the best place to start off. It's better than watching tutorials on YouTube, IMO. I also recommend checking scripts on free models to learn how to make it yourself.
I don't think you need any tutor. The basics of scripting are actually pretty easy, and you can learn it in less than a week.
Best of luck. |

IMO start on the wiki cookbook, then move on to youtube videos once you want to learn more advanced things/the wiki's own article on the subject doesn't make sense
Whatever you do, do NOT start on free models. They tend to be messy. Try tinkering with them once you feel confident with your capabilities, though
I started with free models and it screwed up how I thought scripting worked until I found out about the wiki a couple years later ._.
