The death sound has always been a meme inside the ROBLOX community for a long while now (Just one little example from a few years back, but it goes back much farther: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYO7pQVMsfQ) and thus, as ROBLOX gains popularity (as it is EXTREMELY popular nowadays) the jokes that are widespread in the community, but still just community jokes will become normal internet jokes. Of course this hasn't happened to all, but the ROBLOX death sound is one that can be used in a lot of ways, completely unrelated to ROBLOX, unlike, say, "Blame John" or many of the other ROBLOX memes.
This is just my take on it, although given this I am a bit surprised there aren't a few more widespread ROBLOX memes today.
